Design Basics - Contrast
The basic idea of Contrast is that if two items are different, then make them different - REALLY different. Contrast adds visual interest to a page.
Again, Weebly takes much of the guesswork out of the design process with well polished themes that include excellent elements of contrast. The theme I've chosen includes a horizontal navigation bar with a black background and white text, while the body of the page has a grey background with black text. You will need to keep contrast in mind when deciding how to style your paragraph headings, the color of your theme, and how your images and embedded elements relate to one another in color, position, and alignment.

My Title Blocks Use a Different Font and Color
My paragraph text uses a standard sans -serif font. While not the only way, this small change can make a big difference in the visual interest of your web page.
NOTE: Weebly does allow you to edit the raw HTML and CSS files that control how your entire site is designed. If you've taken some web development classes and want to explore the code, you can find it in the "Design" button at the very top of your page when editing your site.
